Tara Coet 1972 - 2011
In December, Tara Coet, our kid’s talent agent, was diagnosed with a particularly virulent form of lymphoma. For the past five months, Tara fought bravely while her doctors threw everything they could at her cancer. Sadly, it was incurable. Tara passed away last night at St Paul Hospital surrounded by her family and close friends.
Tara LOVED being an agent and she was one of the best in the industry. Throughout her illness she continued working because it was one of the things that kept her spirits up. She was respected by her clients and adored by the kids she represented. She was a cherished member of the Kim Dawson family and we will miss her terribly.
Her service will be this Thursday at 3:00 pm at Christ Church Anglican: 4550 Legacy Dr, Plano, TX 75024. There will be a reception in the Fellowship Hall following the service.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in Tara’s honor to the Lymphoma Research Foundation. www.lymphoma.org
We have added additional dates to Tara’s Care Calendar for anyone who would like to help the family through this difficult time by taking a meal. www.carecalendar.org
Please keep Tara’s family in your prayers.

Tara was a loving, supportive mother, a great agent, a good wife as well as a fun, crazy friend. Everyone loved her. She will be sorely missed.
I met her at Cathy Sullivan's where my daughter has taken acting classes for 3 years. She was a charming, beautiful and kind spirit. I am glad to have met her. She will be missed.
I will miss my dear friend. She was unique, fun, dedicated, passionate and a beautiful human being inside and out.
She meant a lot to my family and will be greatly missed
It is comforting to know that Tara was so loved and appreciated. She truly did love being a talent agent and she told me that she truly loved her job at the Kim Dawson Talent Agency. She loved everyone there. She also loved her clients and cherished the young actors she represented. Tara's mom and I will forever be grateful for the amazing support that the Kim Dawson Talent Agency gave to Tara, Fred, Noell and Kendra throughout Tara’s incredible struggle with cancer and for being there for Fred, Noell and Kendra following Tara’s passing. Please don’t forget her and thank you so very much. We love you guys.

P.S. If any of you would be interested in contributing your personal favorite memories with Tara to a book I am contemplating writing to celebrate Tara’s life and honor her memory with “remembrances” from those whose lives she touched, please go to my “Ed Coet” Facebook page and scroll down and read the details on my note “Remembering Tara.”
